The following items summarize the new features and enhancements in the OpenUtilities Substation CONNECT Edition Update 9 Refresh 2 release.

• Balloon Placement supported for Construction Drawings created with Saved Views / Reference files.

  Construction drawing techniques often involved using Saved Views and References from a 3D model. Prior ballooning tool had limited capabilities for balloon placement. The new balloon function is now less restrictive.

  

• Project Manager “Checked Out by” column (For ProjectWise integrated environments)

  Users who have integrated Substation with ProjectWise now have ability to see checked out status within Project Manager.

  

• General Usability Improvements
  • Wire Links excluded from BOM Manager.
  • Improved error handling for missing configuration variables in Substation.cfg.
  • Update Substation Object now maintains the object’s level for Bus or Cable.
  • Level selection for Cable/Bus object is persistent Placement Options. Previously, level was reset to first level on list after each cable/bus segment was inserted.
  • Spares Balloons outside of BOM Manager revision range are prevented.
  • BOM Manager Insert Spare function has been disabled when Data is loaded by “Workorder”.
  • SQL Parts Database improved support - TLS 1.2 now supported.
